Appropriately at the end of the year, the Lero robot prototype developed as part of the EXIST Research Transfer funded project PlantMap shows its Christmas side. 2022 was an exciting year with ups and downs not only for the Nature Robots team, but also for Lero. Despite the short development time of the robot prototype, we succeeded in recording considerable amounts of data from a wide variety of vegetable crops on the plots of the AI Market Garden from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Bohmte. We are glad to have such strong partners in our environment and in this sense we also thank them for the successful cooperation.
