Our CEO Sebastian Pütz had the pleasure of attending the Bitkom Digital Farming Conference 2024 in Berlin, where Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Agriculture and Food, delivered an inspiring speech. He emphasized the importance of considering all dimensions of sustainability together actively supporting both conventional and organic farming. His call to reduce bureaucracy and avoid party-political actions resonated deeply, stressing the need for stable, long-term solutions that provide farmers with planning security and prepare agriculture for future challenges.

Sebastian also had the chance to catch up with our good friend Sebastian Lieder from Klim and AgraCheck. Engaging in insightful conversations with him and Nina Dwerlkotte about the future of agriculture was truly enlightening. It was also wonderful to meet Julia Hölzer from greenspot.

A highlight was the Fireside Chat by the Space2Agriculture network, featuring Johannes Schmidt, Katrin Bacic, Julian Kremers, and Pia Thauer from Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V.. As a proud member with Nature Robots, we provide modular autonomy for agricultural machinery, independent of GNSS and RTK, could potentially be used on the moon and Mars!

Additionally, Martin Rentsch, Head of Communications at the UN World Food Programme WFP, delivered a powerful talk on “Hunger to Hope,” showcasing how innovation can combat multiple crises. His insights were truly inspiring and a reminder of the impact of our collective efforts.
