Nature Robots launches EIC project on May 1, 2025

We are extremely pleased to announce that Nature Robots officially launched its EIC project on May 1, 2025! This milestone marks a crucial step in our journey to revolutionize agriculture through autonomous, highly efficient robot technologies.

Nature Robots is receiving €6.5 million from the EIC Accelerator’s blended finance round, which we won in October 2024. Of these funds, €2.5 million comes directly from the EIC Accelerator as a grant, while an additional €4 million could be provided in the near future as equity capital through the EIC Fund.

This funding is a strong signal of the importance and potential of our work: out of 1,211 European startups that made it to the full application phase, only 71 companies (5.9%) were selected in the most competitive round of the EIC Accelerator to date, including Nature Robots.

Our team presented our vision in a final pitch and a personal Q&A session in front of a high-level jury in Brussels and convinced them across the board. The recognition by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the Executive Agency for SMEs (EISMEA) underscores the relevance and scope of our project.

The blended finance option offers not only grants but also potential equity participation from the EIC Fund, Europe’s largest deep tech investor. This opens up the opportunity for Nature Robots to scale our technologies faster and enter new markets.

Our vision is clear: we want to make autonomous, highly efficient agricultural robots available for all areas of agriculture – from conventional fields to complex regenerative agroforestry systems to large-scale full-scale farming.

This success motivates us to work even harder on developing innovative solutions that relieve farmers, optimize yields, and protect the environment in a sustainable manner.
