Nature Robots at the FIRA 2025
Nature Robots at the FIRA 2025 in Toulouse
FIRA 2024 kicked off on Tuesday morning with a keynote speech by Sebastian Pütz on “Universal Autonomous Navigation with LIDAR-based real-time localization”. We set the technological bar high and demonstrated the possibilities for autonomous agricultural robots and machines. Our Autonomy Operating System sets a new standard here.
We were able to make many new international contacts. In discussions with various robot manufacturers, it quickly became clear that there is great interest in our Autonomy Operating System - a fast, cost-effective and safe system that meets the requirements of the industry and is ideally positioned for the coming years.
Particular interest was shown in these modules:
➡️ Field Coverage Planning optimizes vehicle routes, reduces overlaps and increases efficiency. It calculates an optimal route across the field, and the dynamic headland depth function allows the field layout to be flexibly adapted.
➡️ Hybrid Localization combines precise localization and mapping to reliably navigate machines even in challenging environments where GPS and RTK signals are unreliable.
🎯 We are on the right track! The market demands intelligent, scalable autonomy software - and that’s exactly what we offer with our ROS 2 integration. Our solution brings clear benefits for ROS-controlled machines, and we are happy to support the transition to ROS 2 as this technology continues to establish itself as the leading standard in the coming years.
We are already looking forward to FIRA 2026 and FIRA in the USA!
