Innovative solutions on the future of the forest: the Future Forest Forum 2022

The Nature Robots team had the great opportunity to participate in the Future Forest Forum 2022, hosted by the Future Forest Initiative at Schloss Blankenburg in the Harz Mountains on August 19-20, where sustainable and forward-thinking concepts for the future of the forest were discussed.

Moreover, we were thrilled to be among the 9 exceptional companies selected to participate in the Future Forest Innovation Sprint mentoring program, held to kick-off the forum. It is specifically designed for start-ups in the forest and climate sectors and provides them with individual formats for mentoring and networking with relevant stakeholders from business, science and politics. It was a unique opportunity for us to engage with experienced experts and successful entrepreneurs from the sector, who offered constructive feedback on our business model.

The main event that followed was truly a highlight, with a variety of actors from the forest sector, business and the start-up scene presenting their innovative approaches to tackling the challenges the forest faces in times of climate change in interactive workshops, keynote speeches, and start-up pitches. Our co-founder and CSO & CFO, Sven Lake, also delivered a presentation on how our AI and robotics technology can help promote sustainable and ecological agriculture.

The Future Forest Initiative’s programmes are a must for young start-ups in the forest and climate sectors. The personalized mentoring and networking opportunities with renowned experts have been crucial in driving our company’s progress and made it a lot easier for us to enter the industry.
